Tales From the Dark Side

this wouldn't be so bad if work would stop bothering me....

They won't just let me do my job. I went in yesterday expecting one trainee and I got 2 again. The good thing about them is that they listened and were willing to learn and try, and they both went on the window for at least on hour each. (So they caught on quickly). The tough part on me is the concentration I have to show for the whole shift. Needless to say I was totally exausted and my mind working overtime when I got home... not a good way to go to sleep. So when J called I let him ramble on about work and how excited he is about this weekend (BlueJays game)and his work etc... then I watched an episode from the Simpsons. Then I went to bed - but my dreams are so tumultuous - I can't stand it. So much negativity and pain, even kids sick and dying, George was lost and alone last night... It's not a very restful sleep.

I don't know how to deal with this.

Today I have to go to both casino's and find my uniforms then go to work... so I have to leave sooner than normal....yippee! Then off to work to see my new trainee (hopefully just the one today.

Well - it was a close one but I managed to stay with one trainee, unfortunately I felt like throwing up the whole shift and am not really sure if I taught him anything important...

Oh well - I'm here now, back at home - I can watch my show now...
Last night was the GALA and what a mess...
I stayed for 2 hours and managed not to do anything but count money the whole time... I wandered around a bit too...

then I went and saw a movie - took my nind off stuff, still feel like throwing up and am super tired still - but what to do...

Lee and I had an interesting conversation lest night... it seems I am remembering some of my memories from childhood (suppressed all this time). The one I remembered triggered one in her and now I'm angry at my parents again - because I don't think they even tried...

Dad said that Maureen used to spend over $100 a week on lotto tickets, and she bought collections of bradford plates. BUT we never had money...
There would be a grand shopping trip where each kid was given a certain amount of money for clothes that would last a year -

well grade 8 - I grew, and was sitting in class on a hot june day wearing the only thing that fit - a pair of blue jeans and a top - and I felt like I was dying... in my head was - how to ask mom and dad to take me shopping as I didn't have any summer stuff that fit...

great memory huh!
Last night wasn't that bad - grand opening - busy and implied overtime but it wasn't that bad.

Now I'm up and raring to go!!!

GO JAYS GO!!!
