Water,Water everywhere - but not a drop to drink!
The weekend wasn't half bad - besides the speeding ticket (I was going really fast!) and the fact that my sister was 3 hours late... she was shopping with our sister-in-law. I told my boyfriend he had rubbed my feathers the wrong way (which may not be a bad thing as George doesn't seem to mind full body rubs). But we beat Dad at cards and thats all that matters.
THe drive back to N.F. was a long one compared to usual - the QEW was backed up to Firefly's exit making my trip brutal - so I took back ways and it was probably the same amount of time only less people. When I got home... there was a huge wet spot on the carpet - the water squished up through my toes when I stepped on it!!!! So I had 20 minutes to clean that up as best as I could before changing and getting ready for work. In the meantime I grabbed my ticket to put by the computer to pay and couldn't find it at all...
after a 10 minute search then giving up and heading outside and finding it in the car... by the time I got to work the exhaustion had kicked in and I was ready to leave - not a good thing when you work with money... but I managed to balance and they even let me out a little early...
The carpet is still a little wet today.
I am getting my ticket ready to be mailed out.
I am halfway through a book I already read. But now it fits better into the series.
And I have no food in the house so - I have to go!
